Dodgy Copal 3 Shutter

Today I received a lens that I bought on ebay. Everything is fine except that the Copal 3 shutter doesn't work properly at 1/4. If I fire it repeatedly at this speed, then about 80% of the time it seems to fire at the maximum speed of the shutter. The rest of time it is closer to 1/4, but is not consistent. All the other speeds sound about right, including 1/2 and 1/8.

Can anyone advise me on whether it is feasible to try to repair this myself? I've worked on simple shutters before, but not a Copal 3. Alternatively, does anyone know someone in the UK who could do this for me?

my son may be able to repair the copal 3. try him on :_
