yoo, Im currently studying @ Uca In rochester, coming up to my 10 week project, Iv'e got to write my own brief, Im going to be working on the documentation of a 4 day trip to berlin, Im after reseraching some photographers, prefrably books if possible, who have done a journal style book? documentation of there trip, camera's used, ect. Iv'e got some work on simon norfolk. ( going to whach his talk in london on monday with my friend ) stoked about that, his work is fantastic. any other names would be helpfull on my research.

ah then...how about Elliott Erwitt? - should be able to find a copy of Private Experience somewhere. Or maybe Sylvia Plachy.

why don't you just write it and photograph it in your style ?
so many people look for something magical in getting ideas
from other people, putting their tripod in their holes, instead
of finding their own voice ...
just go to berlin, have an open mind, and a camera full of film
and write what is on your mind ..

sorry if i sound "harsh" but it might be more fun too :smile:

completely understand man! & I will be doing so, but unfortunetly at college artist research is one thing we have to do, pain in the bum to be honest, because I just want to get on with my own thing. doesnt sound harsh atall man! completely agree.

why don't you check out the work of robert frank.
he travelled across the states way back when
and the book from it was "the americans"...
