Tudor was a brand common in Britain a good few years ago, usually offering a replacement film with the processing.
Someone like Ian grant will probably be able to tell you who actually manufactured it. Maybe ferrania or agfa?

Might not be the same Tudor of course ...

Thanks, pdeeh! I'm keeping it for my collection of rare canisters that I've just started!

But some background would be nice!

Any of the Tudor I saw and processed had the Fuji edge markings. If I remember correctly (this was back in the 1980s) is was always one generation behind the then current Fuji

Hi Flavio,

Maybe it's a *very* old film.
Bby the way, I even found a photo taken with it, a very long time ago...

Tudor is/was a large photo-processing lab in UK, doing mail-in services and collections from retailers etc. They sent a new film back with the prints, or did so if you ticked a box on the envelope and paid the extra. There may also have been Tudor film sold in a pharmacy / small-retailer used as a collection point for the lab services. It is one of these rolls which you have found. If there is anything on the cassette concerning country of origin then Italy suggests Ferrania/3M, Germany might suggest Agfa, Japan might be Fuji or Konishiroku (if it is very old!), UK/US/Mexico might suggest Kodak. At various times, these companies all made basic films for retail as "own brand" films in differently printed cassettes.

Shadows are very detailed! I like the warms tones. But I really didn't know Mr. Bean was part of the royalty! :D

Foc and MartinP,

Thanks for the information. I'll take a closer look at the canister tonight.

I have only heard that Tudor film was made by 3M. It is still available in UK around £2 for 36 exp, but it is generations behind Kodak Gold, or Fuji Reala
