Disassembling the Durst M370

I have a M370 enlarger I'd like to pack up for the time being, however I can't see how to remove the head from the enlarger column, any tips?

I've just been looking at the enlarger again and there appears to be a single screw protruding from the column that stops the head from running off.

Smack it with a stick, once they get loose they run mighty fast.
