Director Sam Mendes on Going Back to 35mm for 'Spectre'

Thanks for pointing this out. I hear the Star Wars film is also film-shot, so I guess I'll have to go see it.
 
Again more good news from the movie industry!
 
'Spectre' was shot on film ( ....as will the next Bond movie ), and the latest 'Star Wars' was too with Panavision supplying two 35mm cameras especially for the production painted black and named Millennium Falcon and Death Star. Some scenes were shot in 65mm.

'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' is also being screened ( in very limited theatres ) in 35mm too.

Todays audiences really don't know what they're missing. Movies shot and projected in 35mm look superior compared with any digital format, especially with todays negative and print stocks.

The import question is whether this film will be released on print film.

Here is the importance for manufacture, not on the camera film.
