ok, been meaning to ask this for awhile, my timer dims about 2 min. after the light is turned off (I'm currently printing) what's happening? How can I remedy this eye squinting problem?

The display dims?

GraLab, Model #300. Yes, numbers and hands dim.

I think the glow in the dark stuff has worn out and don't keep them glow for very long.

I think it's your eyes adjusting. The glow is not electrical.

You can get some luminous paint and repaint the glowing parts. If you cant find it in a craft store, you can try luminous nail polish as well. Best but slightly more expensive option is to buy a product called Superluminova. It is a very bright, and quickly charged luminescent paint used on high end watch dials.

Haaa, If that were the case Mainecoonmaniac, the numbers would seem brighter... Chan Tran's answer is more like it.

I don't know, but I have a few GraLab 300's of different vintage and prefer the vintage one. It doesn't hold the charge as long as the newer ones.

You're right. I ain't no optometrist

Thanks everyone....it's almost too simple of an answer. I have some of that glow in the dark, painting tomorrow!!!!

Take the timer outside on a bright sunny day and leave it in the sun or fire a strobe at it a few times.

No my problem is a dimming brain, not a dimming timer.
