I want to build a Deardorff 8 X 10 back and would be grateful if someone could provide the dimensions.
Details required are external size and thickness, inner raised section size and thickness, total thickness and spacing of pins from each outer edge.
Any information gratefully received.

I have the camera, but I think you need a bonefide CAD guy to draw this up. I don't know how to detail this. If you have a camera and a film holder you should have a good start. I had a guy that's been a designer for 25 years draw up Zone VI enlarger lens boards. He's the best in the business, when we lasered the metal 1st go I had to do some filing to get them to fit. Everything is got radius corners etc. It's a daunting task.

I should have been clearer re the dimensions needed. I don't need any dimensions for the ground glass spring part but just the back part that mounts on the camera. That is the outer dimensions and the inner dimensions and the thickness of each together with the spacing of the pins. I plan on mounting a 4 X 10 back onto this back. I am a retired cabinetmaker and have no problem building this.
