I am noticing that when I print my 120 Medium Format scanned Kodak TRI-X 400 negatives, I am see very little to no grain. Now some would see this as a blessing but I actually like to see the grain.

The grain is visible in Photoshop. I am printing on an Epson R3880 and I am wondering if this is because the print sizes I am outputting are only 10X8

I like mild grain myself and believe that it increases apparent image sharpness;I add it through PS via a few percent Gaussian noise. I like the look of it and it looks very natural with mostly showing up in neutral gray areas.BTW,I use the same printer and are very pleased with it for quality B&W prints.Since I've got it ,I miss the darkroom a little less.

I would expect to see little or no grain in an 8x10" darkroom print from a MF Tri-X negative. Photoshop lets you look at an image at a huge magnification. When I am satisfied with an image, I will look at it with the on-screen rulers at approximately 1:1. If I can or can't see something at that size, I can't see it in the print.
