Idea:

Take apart a working LCD-monitor in such manner, that the Liquid-crystal display is working and use it as digital negative for cyanotype or photo paper.

Assumed problem(s):

a) Deconstruction in such way that the unit will work....can be solved...
b) Sharpness problem, because the distance from the whole Liquid-crystal display to the light sensitive paper is to big....
c) Eventually for cyanotype no or to less UV light will be transmitted through the display

Resin 3D printers use the LCD element for hardening the resin with UV light. So this should work?

iPad doesn't work, the screen is too far away from the paper. You can expose paper projecting phone screen with enlarger. But all these methods come down to the poor DPI.
