I have some problems to make the right negative for cyanotypes......
I use PS CR program and a Canon IP4300....... transparency film from connect (KF26074 ink-jet film)......
But when make the cyanotypes with what I think is an OK negative....i turns out to be too 'thin' in the highlights.....
I use B/W film..... Should I use an other color ???
Is there a 'recipe' I can use to get a better result.....

I have looked at many (all??) answers here, but not found something real en-lighting and for me : simple .......

Welcome!

When you print yourself a test gradient, from what you consider to be the blackest black to the whitest white, what do you see?

I am wondering if this is an issue of curving, ink density, light source or transmission of the transparency material, or exposure etc.... I think a simple gradient check would be the first place to start and would help the experts diagnose your issue(s). Can you post a gradient?
