Digital Back on ProTL Mamiya

Ok -- don't shoot me... I know this is a forum for shooting film... and I do, I do!! I shoot lots of film. But I heard yesterday that there was no digital back that would work on the Mamiya Pro TL... and that you had to buy the 645 AF in order to use a digital back.

Does anyone know if this information is true, or if the sales person at the store where I was just didn't know what he was talking about?
