I was in the shop other day and I noticed different shutter dial on silver and black M-A: black one has slot for lightmeter between 1/4 and 1/2 s, and silver one does not have it. Is this some standard for silver and black version, or it is custom feature that one can choose?

The lens release button is also different.
I also wonder why the chrome model has a B/OFF.
I thought there was no battery there.

are we certain both cameras are the same model? Perhaps the one with no meter slot has an internal meter, perhaps a modified M7 or something?

Maybe someone at the factory just put the wrong speed dial on it. Go inside the shop and ask, perhaps.

Naaaa Leica quality control problems again.
Anyways an M2 is way cheaper and accepts IXMOO.

Just Leica saving you money by using extant parts! My black (al la carte) MP's shutter dial is chrome, has B/off but no slot for a meter (duh.) Release button is as the chrome M-A in your image. You'll also notice the chrome dial has more delicate engraving than does the black dial, even though they both need to get filled in with paint. Don't try to figure this out; it's Leica, for Pete's sake. Just keep saving...

I know, I know
My M3 and M6 is enough for my lifetime (and beyond), but man ... those new ones are beautiful looking ... but 4000 euros is twice the worth of my car - so no way!
