Did I ruin my sepia toner or just shorten the life (forgot to wash)

Arggg!
I was toning a couple of sepia prints and forgot to wash between both of them! Immediately the toner got particles in it and looked gross. I filtered it before putting back into the bottle but I'm wondering if it's ruined or something else.

I think, only by trying to tone another print with it will you get your answer...

Thanks Terry, simple enough to check.
Edited to add: it did work just fine and it appeared to have no ill effects on the print.
