Hello everyone. New to this community!
I was wondering if anyone could help me with this...
I have a Canon AE-1. Before finishing a roll of film, I took the lens off the camera body to do some cleaning and put it back on. I didn't press the shutter button at all during this time but does this mean my roll is now blank?
thanks so much

No, you're fine. You can change lenses with film in the camera with a normal 35mm SLR.

No, even if you did press the shutter you would only expose 1 frame. Keep shooting!

Just as a bit of an aside, when you do change lenses outdoors, it's a good idea to point the camera away from the sun, or stand in the way of the sun so that your camera is in the shade. You can fog film if you're not careful, although it's not a common problem and you'd probably just damage a single frame of film.
