To start your own thread, DMJ has it right, but I'll add a picture.
You need to go to the index page for the sub-forum that you want to start the thread in. In this case, it is Alternative Processes sub-forum. You will see a link to that index page at the top of this page of posts - click on "Alternative Processes" there and you will be taken to that index page.
Alternatively, you can click on Forums nearer the top of the page, and scroll through the many sub-forums that present themselves. Click on the Alternative Processes choice there to get to this:
To start a new thread, click on the Post New Thread box, and fill in the title and first post boxes and, where applicable, tick the subject classification choice.
Don't forget the Create New Thread button at the end.
