Diana H. Bloomfield - Beyond Literal - Aug 21 & 22 (Philadelphia)

Dead Link Removed will be returning to Project Basho in a few weeks to teach Beyond Literal. This 2-day workshop explores the way decisions like lighting, composition, camera choice, and printing methods translate to create a unique visual vocabulary. Through discussion and critique, Bloomfield will help artists develop a sense of personal style and embrace photography as an individual expression of inner imagination rather than documentation of an external world. This workshop will encourage participants to think about how they want their images to look and feel and will touch on the technical issues necessary to achieve it.
