They are not by me...

baachitraka, by its expression the dog is clearly upset that its portrait was not by you :D It has what we in the U.K. call a "hang-dog " look that is "gloomy and sad" .

This spring. Outdated Fujichrome, about 20 years. As it is I I must credit this one to t'other half.

Missed this the first time around -- wonderful images...using the camera's faults to their best.

yes, its the photographer and the process behind it, always.

Wow! Love these. This is the first time a Diana got my attention since IOWA by Nancy Rexroth.

Those portraits are really great.
I don't know if the composition aspect of limited head space was due to parallax error or deliberate but it kind of actually works.

I've watched the video a few times now and some of the pictures are really good. I especially like the 'head-less' ones, as they still give a sense of the sitters character without even seeing their faces. In my opinion anyway! LOL

In the UK Diana cameras were much more popular than Holgas. Do each have their fans? Dianas were often given away as fairground prizes, and were sold with jokes and novelties in toy shops. Some nice work here.

I'm more of a Diana fan, although I have multiples of both. The Diana gives me more of the plastic camera look I want from a plastic camera.

In the mid 70's, the local 5&10 cent store sold them for $1.00. You could also have customized labels made to replace the Diana one. I remember a wedding between a couple in the photo department at school. They had their names, and the date, on the label. There were probably 50 current and former photo students attending. Each was given a loaded camera. We were to shoot the entire roll and drop it in a box. The couple developed the film, and made prints. We got to keep the cameras.
