How careful do you have to be with Diafine and keeping solution B out of solution A?

For example, if I use the same funnel for returning the solutions to their containers, is rinsing the funnel sufficient for the next time I process? Or is there enough in the plastic to contaminate A?

I use the same funnel after a good water rinse & I've never had any problems.

You can make the cleanliness matter less (although good cleanliness is always smart). Pour back A using the funnel, pour the B into your tank, and then pour B back using the funnel after you've rinsed it. The real danger is getting B into A, not A into B.

Just like anything else. Rinse it out after you use it, and don't let any chemistry dry out and cake up. It will be fine.
