Hello all. After a few years of absence from the Alt-Process world, i am trying to get back into practicing and would love to meet some of the local photographers. I am curious how many photographers in the Dallas area are printing wet-plate collodion or Platinum/Palladium?
I would love to meet other DFW Photographers who are active on here and then possibly get to know some of you guys!
Personally, i grew up in Dallas but studied photography at Colorado State University where i focused a lot on alternative processes and really fell in love with them. I have been back in dallas for 7 years (yes that makes me 28 yrs old... so i am much less experienced than ALL of you i would imagine!) running a commercial photography studio and trying to get back into LF photography and Alt processes. I have been printing in Platinum off and on the past 7 years with fairly good results, but would love to meet others with more experience. I am also trying to get everything together to begin printing wet-plate as well. I did some of this in school but I'm fairly rusty!
I would love to meet anyone in the DFW area who is working in any Alt process, share ideas, advice and prints.
