I really don't understand what he's offering that others don't (better to learn to do it yourself anyway), nor do I understand the whole kickstarter concept. If I have an idea, if it's valid, marketable, and good, and if I am confident that it will work, I go to backers to raise the funds if I don't have them. These are called investors. That's the old, time tested, and proven process. It works, and it works well. The higher the risk, the more the investors expect to get on their return.
I wouldn't invest a nickle w/ someone (not the people on your link, they certainly look legit, I mean anyone, anywhere) who could not demonstrate a true viability w/ a great group of thinkers (or, one person if that's how it works out) and that couldn't show me that what they propose is not only going to work, but is also a benefit to others, and is something that no one else in the field offers. And I don't want "Rewards", I want it in writing how much I get back if things work out the way the seller says they do. If it's percentages, I want to know where those percentages are coming from. Profit? Operating costs? All that, in detail. I'd also want to see an honest market research study made beforehand, along w/ an advertising, marketing, and distribution scheme (the latter would be for a product, vs a service).
