What PH do I need to keep the A bath to stop metol or phenidone from activity with or without ascorbic acid?
 
A pH of 5.5 to 6.0 should be alright.
 
If I am using metol and sodium metabisulphite or sodium bisulphite to lower the ph, would I still need some sodium sulphite as a preservative?
