DeVere LED Enlarger

Lee L mentioned the DeVere LED enlarger. Is this a UK or USA product? It appears to be a 4x5 enlarger. I don't know if it would fit my Bessler but might be worthwhile if it is not too expensive. My Zone VI green/blue tube head is not bright enough.

I don't know of any other LED light source meant for "actual" negatives other than the Zone VI, but there may be others out there?

Devere is an UK company. In the UK Odessey handles them. In North America it's KHB. Devere prices are similar to Durst prices.

I think you're being confused by the professional look of Huw's homebrew LED head for his DeVere enlarger, the part labled LED HEAD MG504. Notice that he says he now has the standard DeVere color head for sale in the article on how he designed his light source.

The commercial LED light source for your Beseler will be the Zone VI head reviewed in the latest View Camera: but only after it comes out in a mount or with an adapter for your enlarger. Right now it's only made ready to mount on the Zone VI enlargers.
