I heard there is a company who make clones of Devere enlargers. Does anyone know who that is?

I thought that Odyssey refurbished existing enlarger-chassis, print processors etc? I suppose that means that they either have the last of the spares, or are making more parts.

Peter, I bought mine, a refurbished DeVere 504, from Odyssey. They used to work for DeVere, and, I understand, they did a buy out. The machines are genuine, not clones, I'd say, in any way.

Over a decade ago, however, there was a clone of DeVere around. As rbrigham mentioned, it was called GEM. I used to own one. It was good but not as rock solid and not as well thought through as DeVere, but lighter.
