Bergger has a page that shows development times for many developers (http://www.bergger.com/us/bpf200.html), but Ilfosol-S is missing on that list. So is Ilfosol-3. So are all Ilford developers, of which I'm invested with and lack other developers at this time. I have some Bergger BPF 200 and if it's possible to I'd like to develop with Ilfosol-3. Anyone have any luck with that? What's a good development time? If unknown, what would be a good comparison for BPF 200 against one of the Ilford films? Like... Could I compare it against FP4? (4 minutes at 1+9 solution, 68 degrees)

Any decent ideas would be helpful I think.

The film is old, so it's not super critical, but being that I can't find any more of this film around, I'm not feeling like buying the exact developer required just to process this film.

Thanks

Digital Truth's "Massive Dev Chart" lists BPF 100 and 400 with Ilfosol S. This is the link:

http://www.digitaltruth.com/devchart.php?Film=BPF&Developer=Ilfosol+S&mdc=Search

ISO 100 = 6.5 minutes
ISO 400 = 8.5 minutes

Would it stand to reason that ISO 200 would be roughly 7.5 minutes? I think so....

Lastly, the average speed variation of say.. Delta on Ilfosol S versus Ilfosol 3 is one minute less time with Ilfosol 3. So, given that I found my last bottle of Ilfosol S is dark muddy brown I'm going to use my fresh Ilfosol 3 and cut the time down by one minute or.. 6.5 minutes.

I'm just talking out loud... just in case there's that one in a million chance that someone else is experiencing facing the same decision as I am.
