developing ULF 7x17 negatives

As I'm considering to go up from 8x10 to 7x17, I'm looking for advice on the best way to develop 7x17 negatives. 'classic tray' development, specific sized roll tank ?

I use grey conduit pipe/tubes on a roller with same end-caps as for 8X10. The tubes & caps screw together. I do have to hang the tubes from slings above the roller since they are rather long (about 24").

Seed trays from Park Seed. Cheap, effective, develop 6 or more at a time...6 is about right, but I have done as many as 8. Develop by inspection if you would like too. That's what I do. Check out my website if you like. All done with pyro and DBI in trays. Properly done, you won't get scratches either - even using efke. Consider taking a workshop by Michael and Paula for Development by Inpsection and contact printing too. You can also jobo it, as I have a jobo, but don't use it anymore. I could do two at a time.

I use either the seed trays or the Jobo. I have a tube meant for 16x20 prints which allows me to process three at a time.

I develop 7X17" negatives with rotary processing. The equipment is a Beseler 16X20" drum, with dividers, and a Unicolor motor base. The dividers of the drum allow placement of two sheets of 7X17 fillm.

Jobo CPP-2 with a combined 2830 and 2560 tank, Bostick & Sullivan's Rollo Pyro developer, and two sheets of film. When Jobo had service in Ann Arbor, Michigan they offered a liner that fit inside a larger 3063 (for 20x24" paper) tank. This allowed you to develop three sheets at a time. To my knowledge no one has offered that product since the Jobo Ann Arbor facility was closed. If anyone is considering making it, please add me to the list of people who want one.
