Developing T-max 400 minimal agitation in pyrocat hd

I've searched the forums and old posts and just need some help on developent times and dilutions for some t-max 400 i shot at Yosemite earlier this week. there was about 6-8 inches of snow on the ground and I was shooting in the shadows most of the day. It was great! I usually shoot 8x10 but i took the 645 this time because my sons were home from college and they hadn't seen much snow so I wanted to work a little faster. I want to use pyrocat hd and minimal agitation. i will be enlarging on my Beseler 45 with a difusion color head and VC paper. I've seen a post by Sandy King about using the 1.5:1:200 dilution and 35 min. developing. Agitation at 1/4,1/2,3/4 of the development time. I have ten rolls to develop and was looking for some suggestions from all of you. Thanks.

Amund, thanks for the info. This is where I got the times and agitation from. I guess a better question would have been: What times and temps are people using with this combo in 120? I think the post that Sandy put up on J&C's site was for sheet film.

Yes, thanks Amund, very helpful. I notice though a film speed in not noted. Would it be correct to assume box speed for these times and temps?

Jim,

I have tested TMAX-400 in both sheet film and roll film with minimal agitation. You get about the same results with both.

You should get slightly more than box speed when developing for silver printing, and quite a bit more if developing for alternative printing. I use an EFS of about 500-600 for alternative work.

Sandy, thanks I was hoping you would comment. I love the pyrocat hd. It has become my standard developer. I just wasn't sure because I have not done any 120 in it. I know that I will have to get some expansion out of the developing because some of the exposures were only 4 zones even though I was shooting in the snow. Mostly shaded areas of the Merced river and various trails. thanks for your help.
