For Sale developing reels

I have never used these. They came with some darkroom equipment I bought. I THINK the reels in the boxes are new and never used...they are still in plastic wrap.
So there is:
1. One Tank (I can only assume it works)
2. Four 35mm reels
3. One 120 reel

I have never burned anybody and I do not plan to start now, but I realize I am new here. If YOU are an established member, I will be happy to ship these to you, and when they get to your house, all in one piece, you can then send me the money if that eases things a bit.

On Edit.....I have only, ever used Paterson Tanks, and have no knowledge of the steel reels. Prices are all over the map.
If what I have is a "budget" brand, or priced kind of high, please feel free to let me know.

CMoore, all the best with your sale. I haven't seen that attitude (About your burning) for a long long time. People like you are an asset to the group. Thanks for listing your stuff here.

BTW, you might actually want to try your hands on the steel reels. They (IMHO) are easier to load and also the Patterson things ratcheting gives me a serious headache.

and now I have discovered (I'm new) Steel Vs. Paterson

I have never used the SS Reels. I load the leader in daylight, just passed the ball bearings, and then I finish in a light-tight room.
I JUST, today, tried using a Black Bag (probably worse with Paterson because it is all A Lot bigger) and I gave up. There may be bigger bags, but it was so crowded in there (with the Paterson) and the inside bag temp shot up to about 120 Degrees, and the Elastic Cuffs were biting into my arms.....so I quit.

The trick with using a dark bag, is to drink a case of beer, then use the empty carton (box) inside the bag so that you have a space to work in.

I'm a fan of the steel reels and can load those with my eye closed. No seriously . But I switched to Paterson due to the better tanks, that I've found, for use on rotary bases.

You are supposed to load them with your eyes closed . Have you tried Nikkor reels and tank?

Nikkor reels are great, but Hewes are probably the absolute best.

I wouldn't scrap them. They are the easiest and best for B&W. And virtually indestructible.

I liked the dunk method the best, in the dark of course. Just lift the rod gently, usually 3x at 20-30' intervals, but depends on the film.

T-Max, FP4+, HP5+, Tech-Pan, Lith, etc.

I hope you're not serious about scrapping them, but I would consider donating the reels (at shipping cost) or selling cheaper with all proceedings to APUG...

I would buy them myself, but I have enough reels and tanks already. And shipping to Brazil is almost as expensive as the reels themselves!
