Developing issues... Jobo tank or Ilford film?

I’m trying to determine what when wrong. I loaded my Jobo 2850 with two sheet of Ilford delta 100 and wasn’t able to process them at the time so I left them in the tank thinking they would be safe. When to process them a few weeks later and here is the result. I’m aware of some issue with these tanks present and the line from the ribs of the tank but I have had pretty good success previously. Let me know what you all think.

I doubt it the fault of the tank or the film. More likely to be the result of leaving the film in the tank for a few weeks and changes in humility and condensation affecting the film.

It could be the tank was not dry/clean enough, and left on its side, not upright.

My guess would be moisture, as already mentioned by alentine.

It looks to me like the negative were against something. Were you only using the 2850 tank or did you also use a reel?

I was only using the 2850 tank, knowing that I maybe see the rib marks, but I’m curious about the other marks. Yes the negatives where up against the tank. My process is a 4 minute pre rinse.

A damp tank, or a trace of residual chemicals would be my interpretation. I have seen that sort of mark/colouration with roll film where the end of the roll has been in contact with the film further in. You might be able to clear the marks in fresh fixer - it would do no harm to try.

I do 8x10 in Jobo drums, but I only load the (dry) drum when I am ready to process. The reason for this is that the sheet film is close to flat normally, and that is enough to hold it in pace against the tank ribs. If the film develops a curl there may not be enough tension.

The tank was dry and I would think residual chemicals would have been displaced in my pre rinse tho I may be wrong.

Looks like the film was emulsion side to the wall of the tank, causing incomplete processing where it was stuck to the wall.
