Hi. Does anyone have experience with Forte 200 B&W 35mm or 120 film. My developer is rodinal. Any suggests for development times are welcome. Thanks, Jelke.

I have just started testing the film in 8x10 using hc-110 diluted 1:31.
Processing times are quite long, you should be able to get a good starting point
for rollfilm from forte's website: http://www.forte-photo.com/e/sf200.htm

I have found the film to work better rated at EI:100 with the appropriate reduction in processing time.

Where are you getting this film in 8 x 10 format? Forte's American distributor says they only carry 4 x 5.

Classic Pan is rebranded Fortepan. You can get it in 8x10" from www.fotoimpex.de. I tried the 400, which is alleged to be similar to Tri-X, but found it just doesn't have the density range. I think I'll probably use the rest of what I have for scenes where I need particularly low contrast.

I've been using PMK for 12.5 minutes at 70 degrees (EI 100). Extrapolating from that, I'd try Rodinal (1:75) for 14 minutes at 70 degrees(EI 100).

I live in Melbourne, Australia and got some from a domestic photographic retailer who imports it directly from Europe. It is actually the easiest & cheapest 8x10 film of all for me to purchase in this country but i'd imagine that's probably not much help to you.
