Hi foilks, I have a bottle of Kodak Flexicolor Final Rinse, catalog number 192 5254, that I bought a while back, come to find out it expired two years ago, and there's only maybe a tablespoon of liquid in the bottle. First of all, I'm wondering if I'll realize any benefit if I go ahead and mix it up and use it, or if I'm just better off dumping it out and using something else.
But that's the rub. I can't find any other final rinses. Whenever I do, they're NLA. Why on Earth would Kodak discontinue a product that is an important component to small-batch developing of C-41, when they still sell everything else for it? Doesn't make any sense to me.
I have a bottle of Photo Flo 200 but it works just ok. I was told a final rinse like the Flexicolor stuff works much better. So, what do you use for a final rinse -- and where can I find it?
