Developers made in Russia

For my FED-2D rangefinder I have ordered some out of date Tasma 65 film made in Russia.To be authentic I would like to know what type B/W film developer might have been used in Russia with this film in 1960-80,if it was similar to Western developers or can be made up from chems.In case someone knows, thanks in advance.

Interesting no mention of D-76 type although other countries took up this formula,eg D-76 is in BJP annual 1941,earliest I have.

The manufactures (both Tasma and Svema) recommended developer was CT-2 (Standard No.2) aka Agfa-12. Developing time was written on the film box. It differed from emulsion to emulsion and normally was about 7-10 minutes for this film.

FWIW, I bought a stash of Svema FN64 a while back and tested it with a few developers, although I never tried the CT-2/Agfa-12. I found that Rodinal 1+25 for 6:15 at 20C worked best. Rodinal 1+50 for 10:30 and DS-12 2+1 for 11:00 also worked quite well. Surprisingly, XTOL produced hideous results. Density was good, but the grain was awful and the development was uneven. I don't know what went wrong with that combination, but it wasn't a one-time quirk (I got bad results with one roll and so tried a test with part of another). I don't know how similar your Tasma film is to the Svema, so my experiences might or might not be relevant.

Btw, near the end of the following, Roobit indicates that Tasma no longer make any retail packaged 35mm film,partly because there are no supplies of cassettes/spools.It may be the old film on ebay is the last of it.
