Hi there, I've got a couple of rolls of Rollei Retro 400 that I wish to develop. I believe this is really rebranded Agfa APX - is that right?
I have exposed it at EI200 and want to use Kodak D76 / Ilford ID11 and just wanted to get a feel for suggested development times at 20 degC in a spiral dev tank.
Any suggestions / comments or helpful tips appreciated.
Yes the Retro 400 is Agfa APX400. I used FX39 to develop it at the APX400 time, and it was fine. So, you should be fine with D76/ID11 times for APX400.
Thanks Nicole - can I assume that 8mins is for film exposed at its nominal rating of 400? If so, would you reckon on reducing development by about 10% if shot at EI200 ?
EI 400 = normal dev time = 8 min if that's your personal preferance
EI 200 = -1 stop (over exposed) = 8 min -20% (under developed) if that's your personal preferance
