I'm looking for the development time for Efke PL 25 M using Fomadon R09 developer at 1+25 or 1+50 dilution. The film is said to develop at 6 min using D76. The developer paperwork is not much use as the only Czech figures are for Foma FP100, 200 and 400 at 4, 5 and 6 min. respectively. Ilford's 50 speed PAN F-Plus comes in at 6 minutes so i think i'll start at 6 min @ 68 degrees (1+25) if i don't hear any objections?
Maybe you should check the times for Rodinal. The R09 part of it's name implies that it's (more or less) a Rodinal clone. IIRC the suggested dilutions for Fomadon R09 are 1+20 and 1+40, which should be equal to 1+25 and 1+50 for Rodinal.
The massive dev chart at digital truth has some suggestions.
(there was a url link here which no longer exists) has some interesting information too. You might want to try the 1+100 dilution (stand development), many members have reported fine results.
If you have the Fomadon R09 NEW with rounded corner bottles and 1+25 and 1+50 dilutions, you HAVE Rodinal/R09 one shot developer made by CMS in Vaihingen-Enz.
During this summer Foma changed from R09 supplier.
So you can execute the Rodinal data for this stuff.

What disturbs me is that massive dev chart mentions simply "Efke 25" so it's not clear whether it is PL 25M or KB 25. I have got some PL 25M sheets that I want to shoot and develop in Rodinal. I think I will expose at E.I. 25 and developer in 1+50 dilution for 8 minutes or 1+100 for 12 minutes. Any tips on the stand developing Efke with Rodinal? Is pre-soak recommended with this film? Thanks
