Is anyone determining the correct color filter pack to use by scanning the first test print and using an editor program to make C-Y-M adjustments to figure out the right adjustments without needing to do it by guessing or using viewing filters?

It probably wouldn't be accurate, since the numeric values used in Photoshop won't be the same as those on your colorhead. You can buy a color analyser and use that instead.
