Hello everyone,
I found a densitometer x-rite 369T, and I bought it because was cheaper, every thingh seems work, when I turn on it, test is passed, but I would like to have a right calibration in visual and UV channels. Before to send it to x-rite Can I do it by myself? And How? One important thingh I haven't a step table x-rite to calibrate it?so Can I calibrate it with such as a Stufflet table?and What the difference in calibration about Visual and UV channels.
Excuse me for all these questions

You can calibrate your densitometer with any transmission step tablet (like the Stouffer), but only if that step tablet has itself been calibrated, because you must enter those values into the densitometer during the calibration process. If your step table has been calibrated, it may only have been calibrated in visual units, and not UV units, and if so, you could only calibrate the densitometer’s visual channel.

X-Rite sells a step tablet calibrated for both visual and UV, and they may have the manual for your densitometer online, to help with calibration.

It's a small world.

This is just an off-topic observation about how special this site is. We have a question originating in Italy, that is answered by someone in Alaska. My guess is that Stefano's first language isn't English, but his use of the language is strong, and his question is clearly understood on the other side of the world, and answered within the hour.

I'm impressed, and amazed, and grateful.

Hi Stefano!
I am not familar with the model 369, but here is a link to calibration for the model 369. From there you should be able to find a manual (Their manuals are all available in PDF form for download).

X-rite 369 Calibration

I hope it helps.

Regards,
John

Hello,
Thank you very much, for yours advice.I've benn seeing in another windows 369 calibration in X-rite site, and I've found that the manual is similar to 361T model, so I'm downloading it and I'll try to read it. I think the my next step will be to buy a test card to calibrate my densitometer, but after a little calibration with stouffer table(my is calibrate) my density in Visual channel is much better, the UV channel is I think uncalibrate.
Yes, this a very special place...

Thanks for all

Best

Stefano
