Densitometer Barbieri Densy 201

Hello,

I found buying a used densitometer Barbieri Densy 201.
I haven’t found information about it. Is it a good choice for darkroom works ?
I know the price of a lamp for this densitometer is expensive (around 100 €) ; do you know if the life duration of that lamp is long or short ?

I acquired a used handheld Barbieri Densy (need to check the model) for little money a while ago. I got it from a guy who was running a RA4 lab. He used it to check test strips. I think it is more than OK for prints, not sure for film, since it is (mine) a reflection-only type.
I wasn't aware of the lamp prices though. I don't have any idea of the lamp lifetime either. sorry
I never checked the lamp inside-what kind of lamp is there?

I believe it's a type LED lamp.

(The densitometer Barbieri Densy 201 is a transmission and reflection type.)

if there's a LED lamp inside, just don't worry-it will outlast the densitometer

Apologies for reviving an ancient thread, but does what software are folks using with their Densy machines? I have a little Densy 150, but no software...

Have you figured out which software can be used with a Densy 150? I have one myself and I am trying to understand how to use it....
