I’ve been exploring Hippolyte Bayard’s direct positive process and made this short video demonstrating some initial tests on unsized paper (Rives creme). I thought some folks here might find it interesting. Hope you enjoy.

Cool, a kind of pack film...errr...paper, in a way!
Fascinating process.

Yea, exactly. The pack film holders have been very useful here. The sealed package for the silver iodide paper works well and does remind me a little of the concepts behind sealed Polaroids containing their own chemistry. Glad you enjoyed the video

Very nice video, Francesco. Demystifies and de-mythifies the process for me. I always wondered how the process came together. Still don't understand completely the chemistry behind it though. May be for another day.

:Niranjan.

Yea, I want to understand the inner workings of the chemistry better myself. In the meantime, I’m still working with the process and will share what comes of it. Thanks for the kind words and I’m glad you enjoyed it.
