Delta 3200 in Ilfosol 3?

I'm not very experimental with my shooting and developing, I'll say that up front; I usually shoot pretty much box speed and develop according to the standard chart. I typically use what I can get at my closest local camera store, which is Ilfosol 3. I can get DD-X locally but it's a much further drive and forever sitting in traffic.

This evening I'm going to be playing around with some Delta 3200 in 120 and possibly 35mm, and I'm trying to figure out how best to do it. I'm pretty sure I'll shoot it at 1600, but I can't find any advice anywhere about developing it using Ilfosol 3; it's mostly DD-X or other assorted personal concoctions, none of which I have a single clue about.

I know that development and "look and feel" are completely subjective, but does anyone have any experience with Ilfosol 3 and the 3200? I don't mind getting something else but I have tons of the Ilfosol and if there's a good way to develop using that stuff I'd prefer to use what I already have.

Why don't you use Ilford's recommendations?

Gee probably because i'm a total noob and I didn't know that document existed? Thanks i'll give it a try. Maybe post a result if I get anything usable.

Be very, very careful that you understand the data at the digital truth website.
Some of the data is just a copy of the manufacturer's information.
And some of the data is like wikipedia - anyone can upload whatever they want.
So you don't have any good way of evaluating the data's reliability.
It can be great for unusual film and developer combinations - ones where there are no manufacturer's recommendations.

I usually expose Delta 3200 at an EI of 1600 and develop it for 6400 in order to get the contrast that I want. my scenes are typically not at night and not of someone on stage performing so they are not of high contrast.

Now I'm curious to try this combo. A few years ago, I was quite literally afraid of Ilfosol 3, because I let it sit and go bad, and I ruined five rolls of film. But I got back on the horse, so to speak, and now I'm getting very consistent results with FP4+. And now to the point of my post: as someone who has tried endless experiments with film developing, try it out on something unimportant first! Trust me on this.
