Going to be using 3200 in my 6x9 roll back, as well as a bit in my 35.

Two questions,,,
1.) does the 120 and 35mm handle about the same?

And, assuming I end up with a reasonable exposure value of around 1600 after I get my development time and light meter to agree with me,,,

2.) How much over exposure can I get away with? Not that I'm lazy or anything,,, but if I'm just shooting indoors going back and forth with normal, weird lighting, and meter for some of the lower light areas, can I get away with a scanable negative with 3 stops over exposure? It's on my list to try out, just wondering what the experience has been with folks that use it on a regular basis.

It is really 1000 ISO film at least according to the Ilford data sheet. Some others say it is closer to 1250. It is designed to be shot underexposed from 1600-6400 with extreme use of 12800 or 25600 possible. It can be shot at 400 or 800 though it isn't recommended. That said, I think it handles highlights very well when exposed for the shadows. Check my gallery for the night shots of a factory with some lighting to see how it does, though my scanner accentuates the grain worse than it really looks so I need to redo those prints, using my digital camera instead.

I haven't shot it in 120 so I can't say how it handles there.

I shoot it every once in a while in both 6X6 and 35mm, at either 800 or 1600. I don't know what developers you have on hand. Microphen, perceptol, DDX and PMK have given good results. (The first two giving much softer grain than the last two.) Tried rodinal a couple times, and didn't like it. Really big grains.
