On another thread here I asked if Durst owners who used the Aristo cold light heads had noted any degradation in the quality ( i.e. the color of the light ) of the light because of paint issues on the cold light fluorescent tubes. I wondered if ANY users of such tubes have noted such issues. Thanks for the replies. The cost of adding a cold light source is considerable, and before proceeding I desire to have as much information as possible.

Do you mean flaking off, or changing color with time?

Both....the flaking off has been said on another site to cause the change in the color. Thanks.
