You're a bit late to the party. The Monaghan site functioned for years but was eclipsed by the rise of blogs and individually-focused sites. With some cursory research, it's possible to turn up now a trove of often-arcane MF information that exceeds what the old site offered. Besides it was never a very interactive site relative to APUG or even the now less-vibrant photo.net.

There are several medium format groups, but nothing in a coherent order. Social groups are run by those who create them. For example you could create a medium format social group that focused on MF gear and hybrid techniques. We leave it up to the owners of the groups to make their own rules. The groups do lack a bit of functionality though but hopefully will improve with the next forum update.
I know of, at least, one forum in Spanish specifically created by and for MF users. But again, information in Spanish is not as common as is in other languages.
I think it's just a matter of time until we who use just MF with the occasional LF meet ourselves in "tematic", dedicated groups.
