The December meeting of PHSNE (Photographic Historical Society of New England) is coming up, with an incentive to join us. Attached is the starting auction list for the member's auction. I say starting because many, many really nice items come in the day of the auction (from members' own collections) and get added to the list too late to publish. Attached also is the front page of the member's newsletter, announcing the day's events. Membership is cheap and available immediately at the auction. Student memberships are $7.50 for the first year. Old guys like me have to pay $17.50 for the same thing. Everything else is free- including a big lunch after the meeting and before the auction.
The new meeting place is just off the Green Line in Newton Highlands- no more need to drive to Wakefield!
The day is pretty full with PHSNE stuff, Drew. The gathering and set-up for us worker bees begins at 9:30. The board meeting is at 10:30, and so on through 5 in the afternoon. I'd love to have a workshop session, but this is not the day for it. After Feb., Holly is back at Belmont Hill and we can convince her to host a workshop or two.
