Yeah, I saw those shortly after the flood hit the news. Brings a whole new meaning to "open-air plumbing". I haven't tried to research how much they've been able to repair in the interim, however.

I was at Furnace Creek in October / November... A lot of roads were still closed and the Lodge was still replacing carpet... Golf Course was open (please send my lost balls back to me should you find any of the many)... Had dust storms while I was there and photographic success escaped me once more....
