I am putting up my Deardorff 8x10 collection for sale.
Got it several years ago here in Czech republic from fellow photographer who used it with Eidoscope No2 (imagine that
)
It’s a late model made approximately in 1986 (old as I am
). Its SN is 5595. The bellows are synthetic and are in very good shape, but some pinholes (mainly in full extension) may appear – to prevent it I use darkcloth over the bellows all the time. Max extension is around 77cm.
Great condition, just a couple marks on the front standard, and contact marks on the base. Please see attached photos below and more in the gallery whose link is here as well.
All parts move smooth as they should and lock down tight.
I think this is a genius camera by design as well as of the quality of its manufacture. Only reason I am sending it to a new owner is because I have one more 8x10 camera which uses a Toyo lens board which I use for all other formats (and yeah its Toyo F810MII)
Included in a set are:
· Camera with its original 8x10 back
· 5x7 camera back
· 6 lensboards: 2 with hole for shutter #3, 1 with hole for shutter #1 hole, 2 boards with Linhof adapter (one simple one and second made on CNC), last board has hole for compound shutter. Please note that two flanges on boards with 3# size holes are not included, one flange for Sironar described lower can be added if you purchase the lens altogether with the rest of a complet.
In photographs you can see a Rodenstock Sironar MC 240mm F5.6 in a Compur 3 shutter which I can add for extra 300 € if you are interested…
I’m asking 3000 € (+ extra 300€ for a lens if you are interested) for the whole set and strongly willing to sell in Europe (meeting or post across the Europe). In case you are from the rest of the world and you are deeply interested, let me know and we may find a solution
Payment via Paypal or through Wise.com, if you prefer which may be a cheaper alternative.
On attached photographs you see some basic views to have an idea what this is. More photos you can find in this LINK
If you have any questions, need more info, photos or anything, just let me know. I can send you photos into your mail.
Please contact me here in a PM or at michal.dymak(at)gmail.com
Thank you for your interest, have a nice day and whatever you do, I wish you a proper light!
