This is a Deardorff 4x5 Special. It is in minty condition with only a few signs of moderate use. The camera is made of mahogany. It has front and rear swing movements; rear forward and back tilt; front back tilt; and, two methods of front rise. The wood and metal is in excellent condition. It has an grided ground glass that is in good condition. The bellows is like new. Both the front and rear can be extended to the front and rear respectively. It has front focus and rear focus. The rear standard can be extended to the front to avoid including the front of the bed in a photo when using wide focus lenses. The baseplate is 5 ¾” with a 3/8”-16 mounting hole.
The camera can use a 5x7 Deardorff back if you have one or acquire one later.
Included will be one 4x4 lensboard of your choice of size: 0, 1, or 3.
