thesis typically a highly underrated enlarger, mots likely to be found used in the UK.
yes I have a Devere 507 wall mount with a couple of different heads but new Dark room build the ceiling is too low for the wall mount.. So hoping someone in Ireland has one for sale.. Plenty in the UK but getting quotes of £300 to get it shipped to Ireland

John, out of interest where exactly is your darkroom and what's the ceiling height. I ask because I managed to get my De Vere 5108 into my cellar, the ceiling height was too low :D There are ways and means.

Hi Ian,

I could get it setup in my current dark room build but I would lose the height I would like. As it's a wall mount the column is quite tall and with the large 507 head on there I am losing allot of height. But that said I plan on keeping the 507 as I'll use it when I build a larger darkroom.

Ian,

It's small enough that it'll fit where I need it.. The 507 head will hit the slope of the roof as the darkroom is in a dormer bungalow.

Hiya John. 300 squids is a bit steep for shipping. I use parcelbroker.co.uk for big stuff from UK. Last year cost me 40 squids for a 203 broken down into 2 packages. Head, baseboard, timer, transtab and bits in one and column, focus rods in other. I think a 1/4 pallet, 120x100x60 250kg is about 100 squids. Half, 120x100x100 500kg about 130 squids.
Cheers

Would it be worth cutting out a bit of the plaster board in that area and gaining another 5-6 inches of travel?

Or make a lower bench for it to sit on and sit at it rather than stand? You're too feckin tall!!!

I think I'm going to be ok, just not able to do large large prints... but sure it will all work out in the end.
