does anyone know about or have opinions about the dayi hoseman 4x5 cameras that run about $500 to $600 on ebay? Are field folding cameras with bellows? The photos are unclear. Thank!

These are fixed-lens (i.e. cone mounted), helical-focused cameras.

In other words, they have a lens cone, specific to a given lens, that focuses via a screw extension, not bellows extension.

Not sure what they mean by "Horseman" in the name. Maybe it takes a Horseman ground glass back (may or may not be included). Or maybe it takes Horseman 6x12 lens/cone assemblies.

You have to buy the dayi that will accept whatever back you currently have. If you have a horseman you would get the Dayi Horseman. If you have a wista back you would buy the dayi wista. And there is I believe a wide angle model out there for a couple hundred more that comes with a back.
