I have for sale a Davis & Sanford Floating Action Airlift black metal tripod legs with a Majestic 1901 geared head with a 6"x7" plate.
All mechanisms work very well and the tripod and head are in great looking condition, see the pictures.
The Floating Action Airlift column is very easy to deploy and to close down, a very interesting feature for large and ultra large format cameras.

Height:
Closed 43”
Legs extended 62”
with legs and colomn extended 92”

Majestic head plate is 6”x7” with 1/4 screw.
Weight 6,8kg for the head and tripod combo, not so bad for this tall and sturdy tripod.
You can also use the head with another tripod with the 25$ adapter available from Bencher # 808-02 MAJESTIC 802 ADAPTER - 1-7/8" http://www.bencher.com/majestic/gearhead/tripod_accessories.html

I will like to have 300$ for this combo tripod and head including the shipping in Canada and USA. If you pickup, I will credit the shipping.

Just ask if you have any questions or wish to have a shipping estimate for international. I will credit the US-Canada shipping from international shipping.

Two questions, how much for the Majestic 1901 geared head stuff and what kind of paper do you use?

As the tripod have the exact 1 7/8" post for the head, I will prefer to sell the tripod with the head.
I use all kinds and all sizes of papers for my lumens project but only fiber based papers. Warmtone papers give very colored results. Old and partially fogged work too! So it is time to test your papers and ship them to me!
I post some examples in the lumens section (there was a url link here which no longer exists)

Thanks Rick for the comment.
Yes the head is still listed new on Bencher website at 310$, the head alone with the 6x7" platform More details on the head http://www.bencher.com/majestic/gearhead/gearhead.html
The head in in perfect working and cosmetic condition and the tripod with the pneumatic extension will be very fine for LF and ULF cameras.

Note: Price included the shipping in Canada and USA. If you are in Montreal area, we can meet and I will credit the shipping.

Been following along and this one mystifies me. I would have thought this to be gone long ago at that asking price, and in the pristine condition it appears to be. It indeed looks like a steal.

I'll add the same info I did for Rick's sale. That 6x7-inch mounting plate is discontinued. I called the manufacturer directly a while back and they confirmed that fact. So if you have a big camera, or at least a big mounting block, this could be ideal.

My #1201 Majestic (1.5-inch post, all else identical) looks exactly like this one. And mine was NOS/NIB. There can't be that many of these in that condition still available in the wild at any price.
