Greetings everyone.
Davina with Central Florida (Orlando area) writing an introduction. I never realized how much I loved photography until I went through cancer and decided I need to follow my passions. Purchased a DSLR back in 2008/9 and started classes at Crealde to learn how to use it. I am an IT person during the day and a photographer every other moment. After doing digital photography for years I took my first official film class in 2019 at Crealde in Winter Park, FL.
Getting my hands wet with chemistry I fell in love with the whole aspect of film photography. I had some introduction of 35 film photography from my 5th grade teacher, high school art classes and finally again when I was an adult in Florida. After a year I applied and was accepted as a fellow with Crealde, took additional classes and now I am building a backyard shed darkroom.
I look forward to chatting and discussing all aspects of photography with everyone.
