Hi, in the 1993´s nikon presented a data link which enabled to connect the F90 with a Sharp Wizard (8000) electronic organizer. Do you know if it would be possible to connect nowadays the F90 to a "normal" PC? the good thing about that is that it gave you access to 12 different shooting data (exposure, shutterspeed, focal length etc etc), greetings

I'm aware of two programs if you don't have the Sharp handheld that the original software was tied to:

N90 Buddy by Ken Hancock for Palm was available a while back from his AOL home page, now gone. Try google for a new location

Another inspired by N90 Buddy but with extended capabilities for linux: Dead Link Removed

I haven't used either, but investigated when considering an N90s.

Let me know if you want a used data cable. I might have one to sell.

The original Nikon N90s/F90X Data Link system was replaced subsequently by the "Photo Secretary" system accessory. This was supported on Windows PC platforms (not, to my knowledge, on MAC). The accessory required the program software, available on a CD, and the data cable. The software, as well as the cables, appear with some regularity on eBay.

The "Photo Secretary" accessory programs were also sold for the Nikon F100 camera. Make sure you get the one for the N90s/F90X, I'm sure that they're not interchangeable.

I found only one on the the current eBay listings, and that one was a completed sale. It sold for only $24.49 (originally listed for around $200.00 US).

Here's the link to this eBay sale:

Good Luck!

There is also another program I forgot about. It was sold with a cable made by a third party. The cable is no longer available because of low demand, but the program for several cameras, including the N90(s) has been made freely available. See: http://www.schneordesign.com/Avi/F100/diy_05.htm

I haven't tried it.

I've noticed this is the second or third post from you about Meta35.
And this thread is over 6 years old.
As you seem so keen on this new software, do you know if it work with Win XP and does it come with the proper cable to connect a F90X to a PC?
